Innovation, on its own, is not enough: it must also be responsible. In an age when artificial intelligence is transforming work, decision-making processes and social relationships, the fundamental question is no longer simply what technology is capable of doing, but for whom and at what cost.

Diletta Huyskes and Luna Bianchi, researchers, activists, entrepreneurs and co-founders of Immanence, have been analysing the social impacts and ethical implications of digital technologies for many years. Drawing on their experience, they will demonstrate how ethics and innovation are not at odds with one another: organisations that place responsibility at the heart of their strategies do not slow down progress, but make it more robust, sustainable and resilient.

An event to reflect on what it really means to develop and use artificial intelligence responsibly, and why this is a challenge that concerns us all.
